Tell us what to fix
Corrections, source updates, missing pieces. Not urgent help.
Write to [email protected]. One inbox, read by the editor. Reply time is usually a few days, sometimes longer when life intrudes.
What helps
A short note works. The article title or URL, the line that is wrong or unclear, and where you saw the correct information. A link to the ICA, NEA, CPF, HDB, MUIS, MyLegacy, or court page in question lets us verify and update quickly. Personal experience is also useful: if a fee has changed, a counter has moved, or a process now takes much longer than we describe, tell us what you saw and when.
Suggestions for new topics are welcome. We pay attention when several readers ask about the same gap.
What not to send
Do not send private medical records, NRIC scans, CPF statements, will drafts, insurance policies, bank statements, or any other personal estate documents. This is a small editorial inbox, not a secure channel, and we cannot give you advice on your case even if you do send them.
What we cannot do
We do not give individual medical, legal, financial, or religious advice. We do not handle urgent matters. We cannot intervene with ICA, the CPF Board, HDB, the courts, a hospital, a hospice, a mosque, a temple, or a funeral parlour on your behalf.
If your situation is urgent
For a medical emergency, call 995. For a death at home where you are not sure what to do next, call the hospice nurse, the home palliative team, or the GP who knows the case. For a sudden or unexpected death, call the police on 999 and wait for officers on site. For a wake to start tonight, call a Singapore funeral director; most parlours run 24-hour lines. For estate and probate questions specific to your case, call a Singapore-qualified lawyer. For Muslim inheritance questions, contact the Syariah Court. For CPF questions specific to a deceased member, contact the CPF Board.
For everything else — corrections, source updates, broken links, missing topics — we are glad you wrote.
